Why I do it
Seven years ago, I decided to open a small online store with my sister-in-law.
We knew nothing about starting a business. And we soon found out running a side-hustle was more like a full-time job. It was more complex than we thought and full of ups and downs.
We believed that just having a website presence meant that people would find us.
But we were completely wrong. There was so much more we were missing. And our most significant blind spot was connecting to our customers with relatable content.
What I've learned
That was a hard lesson. But we soon turned things around. We educated ourselves and embraced the concept that putting the right content in front of the right people was incredibly important to the success of our business.
One thing I know for sure; running an online business isn't easy. You need to be invested, stay committed, and get the help you need when you need it.
